The Lady Saints (20-9) hosted Epiphany (9-10) in the 1st round of the NCISAA 2A state playoffs and came away with a 41-36 win without both Ari Atkinson and Ramsey Cureton. Junior Dana Galinis led all scorers with 21 points and 15 rebounds and sophomore DeeDee Koesters added 11 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists.
With the win, JPII advances to the 2nd round of the playoffs and will host Rocky Mount Academy on Thursday, February 17 at 5:00 p.m.
